MÓTUS Dance regularly presents fun, informative dance workshops in primary and secondary schools in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas in Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

Dance Style: Commercial | Musical Theatre

 

About my workshops:

Commercial - Age: Year 5 onwards. In my commercial workshops you will get to experience what commercial dance is by imagining what it would be like to be in a music video by learning choreography to current songs

Musical Theatre - Age: Up to Year 4. In my musical theatre workshops you will learn dance in the style of musical theatre and learn choreography from songs of musicals on stage and screen such as The Lion King, Aladdin, Matilda and many more.

About my workshops: In my workshops you will receive a fresh and stylistic approach to street, hip hop & commercial dance styles, sessions will be fun & engaging whilst still experiencing a range of different performance & technical elements including choreography, corner work, hip hop foundations & dance games.

Dance Style: Contemporary Dance

About my workshops: In my workshops you will develop technical, creative and performance skills through contemporary dance practices, set to an amazing playlist. Emphasis will be given to developing the creative dance artist within a collaborative learning environment.

Dance Style: Garba Contemporary Fusion

About my workshops: In my workshops you will explore Garba Fusion. Garba fusion is a mix of folklore, Indian dance and contemporary. We will have fun learning the dynamic style and choreography of Garba Fusion performed in circles, groups and couples. I will also bring traditional costumes to make the experience more exciting.

Dance Style: Contemporary | Acro dance

About my workshops: In my workshops you will learn some of the basics of contemporary dance and acrobatics, before putting them together in a sequence. I will then help you use these elements to create your own sequences in pairs or small groups.
