School Dance Clubs

MÓTUS is thrilled to be able offer Milton Keynes schools the opportunity to inspire creativity and get your students moving. Why not try something new this upcoming academic year and start a MÓTUS Dance Club at your school?

 

In these classes, a MÓTUS Dance Artist will visit your school for a once weekly class during after school hours. Our amazing teachers can offer many dance styles including contemporary, Bollywood and street dance. Whilst working on dance pieces, we offer them the chance to collaborate together to build choreography with the valuable mentorship of our MÓTUS Dance Artists.

 

Through these classes our dance club students access other opportunities – including the chance to perform at our many events and work with guest teachers from visiting professional dance companies. In the past, schools have had the chance to work with companies such as Hofesh Schechter Company, Mapdance and Alleyne Dance. We also welcome our dance clubs to join us at JUMP START, our annual youth dance platform that welcomes hundreds of young people to present their work and participate in a day long event of workshops, careers talks and showcase their work alongside other young talent.

 

At our dance clubs we welcome all young people from Year 3 and above, no matter what their previous experience of dance is.
