ADJUSTMENTS 517 - Work In Progress

Call Out for Dance Artists/Companies

MÓTUS in collaboration with Trestle Arts Base are now seeking submissions for their next Work In Progress Platform. We are particularly interested in hearing from artists creating work based around Mental Health issues or work made for small touring spaces. As supporters of diversity, we welcome submissions of works from artists of all ages, ethnicities, styles and artists with disabilities.

We are looking to program four works or excerpts of works up to twelve minutes long that will work in the 7.5m wide by 6m deep space. Successful applicants will perform to a live audience and a panel of arts professionals and will participate in discussion about the work following the performances. Participating artists will receive all feedback in written form, digital copies of shots taken during performance and expenses (subject to funding).

Adjustments 517 will take place at the Trestle Arts Base on the evening of Sunday May 21st, with spacing and rehearsal time during the day. To apply please send us up to 200 words summarising the work so far with video footage and/or up to 5 images of the work, alongside a brief biography to motusdancefestival@gmail.com with the subject title WORK IN PROGRESS.
